Cookies

We use cookies on this website. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered.

These cookies are also used to ensure that the website functions properly and to optimise it. When you first visited our website, we informed you about these cookies and asked for your consent to place them. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously stored via your browser settings.

Use of permanent cookies

Permanent cookies enable us to recognise you when you visit our website again. This allows the website to be tailored to your preferences. If you have given your consent to the use of cookies, we can also remember this by means of a cookie. This means you do not have to keep repeating your preferences, which saves you time and makes using our website more enjoyable. You can delete permanent cookies via your browser settings.

Use of session cookies

Session cookies enable us to see which parts of the website you have viewed during this visit. This allows us to tailor our service as much as possible to the browsing behaviour of our visitors. These cookies are automatically deleted when you close your web browser.

Use of analytical cookies

We keep statistics on our website, but this is always done in a completely anonymous or pseudonymised manner. No statistics are kept on parts of the website where your health data is exchanged. We may use the following applications to keep statistics.

Google Analytics

In cases where we have activated the Google Analytics tool, cookies from the American company Google are placed via our website as part of the Analytics service. We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. This tool is set up to be privacy-friendly. For example, we have not permitted Google to use the Analytics information obtained for other Google services, we have the IP addresses pseudonymised, and we have entered into a processing agreement with Google.

The information collected by Google is transferred to and stored on servers in the United States. Google adheres to the Privacy Shield principles and is affiliated with the Privacy Shield programme of the US Department of Commerce. This means that there is an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Matomo Analytics (Piwik)

If we have activated the Matomo Analytics tool, first-party cookies will be placed to track visitor statistics. This allows us to map how visitors use our website (how long you stay on a page, which page you came from, and to count the number of unique visitors). All data remains on our server and is never shared with other parties.

Data exchange

How does the National Switch Point work?

Your (GP) doctor and pharmacies can connect their computers to the National Switch Point (LSP). Through the LSP, they can share your most important medical data. Another healthcare provider can view those medical details. The video below briefly explains how the LSP works when you come to the GP surgery.
