Soft Laser Therapy – Acupuncture

Laser therapy is a modern, safe and completely painless treatment method. In laser acupuncture, the traditional needle is replaced by a targeted laser beam. Because the skin is not pierced, there is no pricking sensation and the treatment is suitable for anyone who is sensitive to needles – including children or people with a fear of needles.

The laser beam has a profound effect on the body. It stimulates blood flow by locally dilating the blood vessels, which improves the supply of oxygen and nutrients and accelerates the removal of waste products.

At the same time, metabolism in the cells is activated, which promotes tissue repair and increases ATP production. This results in faster wound healing, reduced swelling and a lower risk of scarring. Hard scars soften and become better supplied with blood, which further supports the natural healing process.

An important advantage of laser therapy is its anti-inflammatory and immunity-boosting effect (source 1 – Laser Light Therapy in Inflammatory). By stimulating the immune system, the body responds more actively to bacteria, viruses and fungi. This allows infections to be cleared more quickly, damaged skin to heal more easily and the duration of the recovery process to be significantly shortened. Laser therapy offers relief for a wide range of complaints such as eczema, acne, psoriasis, nerve pain and wounds that are difficult to heal or infected. Even in the case of bone fractures, laser therapy has been shown to accelerate the healing process (source 2 – Low level laser therapy promotes bone regeneration).

We also use laser therapy to treat complaints affecting muscles, tendons and joints. These include tendonitis, muscle cramps, carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's disease and joint pain in, for example, the shoulders, wrists, ankles, back or hips. The treatment can be applied locally or combined with stimulation of acupuncture points.
