Hydrogen gas – inhalation therapy

Hydrogen gas – inhalation therapy

Hydrogen gas inhalation therapy, also known as molecular hydrogen therapy, is an innovative and natural form of treatment that is gaining increasing attention within integrative medicine. This therapy involves inhaling pure hydrogen gas (H2). Hydrogen is the smallest and lightest molecule in the universe, and it is precisely this unique property that allows it to pass through cell barriers such as cell membranes. This means that no active transport mechanism is needed to bring the molecule into the cells, something that other substances cannot do.

In scientific studies, hydrogen gas is praised for its powerful yet selective antioxidant effect. It selectively neutralises certain harmful

free radicals in the body, without disrupting healthy cellular processes. Instead of aggressive detoxification, hydrogen works subtly and delicately. It binds to harmful oxygen molecules that cause oxidative stress and converts them into pure water. This creates a natural and safe form of detoxification that supports the body. This gentle action also makes the therapy very suitable for people who are sensitive or suffer from chronic fatigue or inflammation.

Hydrogen gas therapy is increasingly being used to support energy management, improve blood flow and speed up recovery after illness. The therapy is also popular in elite sports and anti-ageing, as it can slow down ageing processes at the cellular level and promote recovery.

In our practice, we use hydrogen gas therapy as a complementary treatment for various health complaints. The treatment is comfortable, painless and completely safe. During a session, you sit quietly while inhaling the gas. Together with you, we will determine which application best suits your situation, because every body is different and requires a personalised approach.
